Ferry
This transportation is used for people who travel to
Butterworth and vice versa, mainly for transportation rather than
sightseeing purpose. Ferries service transport cars and people to and
fro from the main land to the island everyday. The trip across the 3km
channel takes about 20 minutes. You can enjoy the vision of
ferries traveling almost sideways to cross the channel with the
occasional very strong tidal flows. |
