Money
Currency for Malaysia is Ringgit. At the time this
article is written, 1USD = 3.78 MYR and 1GBP = 6.64 MYR. Money changers and banks will change the USD/Pound
for Ringgit for slightly lower rate but it is quite convenient. ATM machines are
available for foreign card too. Credit card is accepted for most shopping

in Malaysia
The fasters way to travel inter state in Malaysia
is air travel. There are 2 main airlines that provide domestic flights: Malaysia
Airlines (MAS) and Air Asia. If you need economic flight, Air Asia is your best

If you are not rushing, train and bus can be the good choice to travel state

For traveling around
town and city, you can choose to take taxi or cab, make sure
you bargain first before you take the ride . Car and scooter rental are also
available, but it is not advisable if you can't handle the traffic especially in
busy city like Penang and Kuala Lumpur. Best way to travel around the city is to
walk around but mind the hot weather!
